YourSiteGuru ("we," "us," or "our") is a sole proprietorship operated by Shannon Kempenich. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use yoursiteguru.com and our related services.

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, phone number, and business details when you sign up.
  • Call and message data — recordings and transcripts of calls handled by our AI phone-answering service, and SMS/chat messages sent through our platform.
  • Business information — your service area, services offered, pricing, and business hours that you provide to configure your AI phone-answering service.
  • Payment information — billing details processed securely through Stripe. We never store your full card number.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the dashboard, pages visited, and feature usage to help us improve the product.

How We Use Your Data

  • Provide the service — power your AI phone-answering service, handle calls, book appointments, and manage your website.
  • Improve the product — analyze usage patterns and call quality to make the AI smarter and the platform better.
  • Send notifications — call summaries, booking confirmations, billing receipts, and important service updates.
  • Customer support — respond to your questions and help troubleshoot issues.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to deliver our service:

  • Telnyx — voice calling and SMS delivery.
  • Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Google Gemini — powers Guru's voice and chat capabilities.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function. We do not sell your personal information. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS / Text Messaging

YourSiteGuru sends SMS messages for account setup, demo scheduling, booking confirmations, service updates, and — with your express consent — marketing and product news.

How you opt in. You can opt in to receive SMS from YourSiteGuru in two ways:

  • By phone: When you call us at 1-833-910-4878 (1-833-910-GURU), Guru may ask whether you'd like us to text you a signup link or follow-up information. You give verbal consent on the call before any text is sent.
  • On our website: When you submit a form at yoursiteguru.com that requests your phone number, you'll see a clear disclosure explaining that submitting the form is consent to receive SMS from YourSiteGuru.

How you opt out. Reply STOP to any text message at any time to immediately unsubscribe. Reply HELP for support. You can also email us at support@yoursiteguru.com to be removed.

Message frequency and cost. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sharing of opt-in data. Your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in, and your consent status will never be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party for their own promotional or marketing purposes. We may share these only with the vendors that help us deliver our messaging service (for example Telnyx), and only for the purpose of delivering the messages you asked to receive.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Call recordings are retained for 90 days unless you request earlier deletion. If you cancel your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we're required by law to retain it.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies — just what's needed for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or sell cookie data. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this policy.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Access your data — request a copy of the information we have about you.
  • Delete your data — request that we delete your account and associated data.
  • Update your information — edit your account details at any time through your dashboard.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
