Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of YourSiteGuru ("the Service"), operated by Shannon Kempenich ("we," "us," or "our") at yoursiteguru.com. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

YourSiteGuru provides Guru — an AI phone-answering service for home service businesses — including:

  • AI phone answering and call handling via a dedicated business number
  • AI chat widget for your website
  • Call summaries, appointment booking, and SMS notifications
  • Optional: a professionally built website for your business

Pricing

  • Voice + Chat — $149/month. Includes Guru — our AI phone-answering service (phone and chat) — call summaries, and appointment booking.
  • Voice + Chat + Website — $199/month. Everything above, plus a managed website for your business.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current rate for the remainder of their billing cycle.

Payment Terms

  • Billed monthly through Stripe.
  • Cancel anytime — no long-term contracts. Your service continues through the end of the current billing period.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee — if you're not satisfied within your first 30 days, we'll refund your payment in full.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal activity, fraud, or harassment.
  • Abuse, manipulate, or attempt to exploit the AI system (e.g., prompt injection, using it for purposes other than your business).
  • Resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.
  • Misrepresent the AI as a human when legally required to disclose.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

AI Disclaimer

Our AI phone-answering service is powered by advanced language models, but it is not perfect. It may occasionally misunderstand callers, provide inaccurate information, or handle edge cases incorrectly. The AI is a tool to assist your business — it is not a substitute for human judgment. You are responsible for reviewing call summaries and following up on bookings as needed.

We continuously improve the AI, but we do not guarantee error-free performance.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide (business info, logos, images, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for missed calls, lost bookings, AI errors, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 3 months.
  • We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party providers (Telnyx, Stripe, Google, etc.).

Termination

Either party can terminate at any time. You can cancel through your dashboard or by emailing us. We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice when possible. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before taking effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
